• Goofy's Sports Deck includes an outdoor basketball court where you can drop by, pick up a ball, and shoot as many free throws as you like. The hours vary for each sailing. You will see them listed on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are on the ship.

• Another option is to skip the sun and take your skills digital with the Virtual Sports Simulators. You can set your ability level and experience basketball, football, hockey, golf, soccer, or baseball. The prices vary based on the sport and the amount of time you want to play. There are both 30-minute and 60-minute packages available. Guests ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.

• One of my favorite activities on the Sports Deck is Goofy Golf. It’s near the basketball courts and is usually open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. There are two tees at each hole – Goofy and Max. My son usually takes the Max tee, while I pick the Goofy. It’s a lot of fun and hardly ever busy.
