Room Service

  • 24-hour room service is a perk that is included in the price of your cruise

  • Of note MENU is located in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App

  • Order coffee Carafate the night before is still warm in the morning (confirmed on Wish)

  • Gluten free chocolate cookies and Mickey Ice Cream Bars are available

  • What ever you order is served to you on a tray that is lined with cloth napkins that are carefully folded into a “pocket” for your flatware and all food covered or wrapped.

  • I love to order a morning coffee carafe and some like breakfast items for the kids for two reasons

    • I can enjoy coffee on the verandah and the food keeps the kids happy while we relax in

  • You may notice that in the drawer of the desk in your stateroom, there is a door hanger with a breakfast menu on the back.

  • Breakfast items are available for delivery in half-hour increments between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. – all you need to do is check off the items you’d like to order along with your preferred delivery window then hang the door hanger on the outside handle of your stateroom by 3:00 a.m.

  • Continental breakfast menu items include (use the door tag in the desk or call it in):

    • MUST PUT TAG OUT BY 10 PM OR CALL GUEST SERVICE IN THE MORNING

    • Juices

    • Coffee/Tea

    • Muffins/Donuts

    • Toast

    • Cereals

    • Fruit cups

    • Bagels and cream cheese

  • Room service is unfortunately not available on the morning that you debark the ship

  • Uncrustables on some ships can be ordered and taken off the ship perfect for those long excursions

    • Of note when I sailed on the Wish they did not have any

    • Can also be picked up in the concierge lounge

  • Cereal boxes are sealed and can be brought off the ship for snacks

  • If you plan to use room service the night before and eat it at breakfast for example the cheese plate, get some zip lock baggies and put it in there and store it in the fridge for the next morning

  • It is nice to enjoy breakfast in one of the main dining restaurants on your last morning, typically, you’ll be assigned to have breakfast at the same restaurant where you had dinner on your last night or you can always enjoy the buffet at cabanas/Marceline Market.

  • Process for ordering breakfast starts with the room Service request cards in your stateroom which are typically tucked in the drawer of the stateroom’s desk. Fill it out with your desired items then leave it outside your stateroom BEFORE 3 AM of the morning you want like it to be delivered.

  • Additionally you can order a continental breakfast by calling room service the special button on your room phone between 7 am and 10 am.

  • Lunch and dinner items are available all day and night except during the morning hours when breakfast is being served. Lunch and dinner menu items may include:

    • Sandwiches

    • Fresh salads

    • Chicken fingers and fries

    • Burgers, pizza, and hot dogs

    • Desserts, including cookies, ice cream, and Mickey bars

    • Sodas are an extra charge if ordered

  • Please remember to tip the room server waiters

    • Gratuities are not added to the bill unless you do

    • They are not part of your regular wait staff and will not be included in your end of the cruise tipping

    • I typically keep a stack of $5 for use just for all the room service we order

    • Other people mention $2-3 for small order and $5 for a larger order

    • If you do not have cash when ordering ask for a slip at the door to add a tip
