OnBoard Disney Treasure Guide

to Bars, Lounge and More

The Disney Treasure celebrates everything guests love about sailing with Disney Cruise Line, from imaginative dining experiences and dazzling shows to the unrivaled service of our incredible crew – there’s something for everyone. The lineup of one-of-a-kind lounges inspired by Disney Parks attractions like Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, plus the elegant coffee bars and more, is truly top-notch.

New Lounges

Skipper Society

  • We’re starting out at Skipper Society, a whimsical lounge that brings Disney Parks’ iconic Jungle Cruise attraction to sea for the first time. This space, just a short walk from the Grand Hall, immerses you in the jungle with the venue’s natural colorways, camp-style furnishings, and tropical foliage.

  • Of course, you’ll find many nods to the attraction here, too. I spotted several postcards and notes referencing the beloved skippers, and club rules written with that same tongue-in-cheek humor we’ve come to love from the skippers.

  • Plus, the plants throughout the space feature the same jungle foliage species you’ll spot at the attraction in Disneyland!

  • As for grub, chow down on tasty waffles and sip on concoctions such as the Salted Caramel Tini, Jungle Navigation Co. Ale, Hippopotomai-Tai, and Navigators Iced Tea.

Haunted Mansion Parlor

  • Right across the way, venture to regions beyond inside the Haunted Mansion Parlor. While every lounge on board is sensational, as a Disney Parks fan, this one truly took my breath away. I could not believe the level of immersion inside, from living portraits to ghosts dancing across the mirror. Audio from the attraction plays forebodingly alongside thunder, wind and ethereal lights… and if you get lucky, you may even encounter Madame Leota.

  • Looking for a can’t-miss hidden detail? Spot Imagineer Rolly Crump’s melting bust beside the fireplace, a nod to his very first “Museum of Weird” idea. The flower on his neck is from his palm reader window on Main Street, U.S.A. And do you see a familiar-looking chair?

  • If you’re on the hunt for a souvenir, you can grab Disney Cruise Line-exclusive commemorative mugs inspired by The Mariner and The Bride. For a zero-proof option, sip on the Haunted Mansion Parlor themed sodas!

Scat Cat Lounge

  • Also near the Grand Hall is Scat Cat Lounge – the grooviest piano hotspot onboard themed to the 1970s Walt Disney Animation Studios classic, The Aristocats.

  • We’ve already clued you in to some hidden details you won’t want to miss in this space, like a paint-covered paw mark on the piano and a poster that depicts beloved cats belonging to those on the project team.

  • A Familiar Looking Carpet: Fans of “The Aristocats” may recognize the carpet inside Scat Cat Lounge, inspired by the ornate French style rugs scattered throughout Madame Adelaide Bonfamille’s swanky Parisian home.

  • Caution – Wet Paint: The playful scene from the “The Aristocats” film when Toulouse mischievously left his paint-covered paw mark on the piano will be represented in Scat Cat Lounge with colorful prints decorating the piano.

  • Inspired by Agrabah: Centrally located off the Grand Hall, Scat Cat Lounge will take design cues from the Grand Hall’s Agrabah-inspired architecture with a complementary color palette and Middle Eastern décor that will blend seamlessly with the storied theming of the venue.

  • Double Delicious Craft Cocktails: Scat Cat Lounge will serve a special menu of cocktails that celebrate “The Aristocats,” including the Créme de la Créme Martini and The Cat Drink.

  • The Cats Go Marching: A parade of silhouetted cats, all representing characters from the film, will welcome guests to Scat Cat Lounge at the entry and lead the way into the venue.

  • Scat Cat’s Horn: “The Aristocats” theming will begin at the front door of the lounge with a sculpted handle that resembles Scat Cat’s signature instrument.

  • Hidden Characters: Hidden Mickeys may be a hallmark of any Walt Disney Imagineering design, but at Scat Cat Lounge, hidden depictions of Roquefort, the devoted mouse companion of Duchess and her kittens, will reign.

  • An Ode to Music: A black and white-striped statement wall will extend through the center of the venue, framing a groovy neon sign with the lyrics, “Ev’rybody Wants to be A Cat.” Reminiscent of piano keys, the wall will honor the important role that music played throughout the film.

  • The Cats Behind the Magic: At first glance, the funky poster that will hang outside Scat Cat Lounge may not draw too much attention. However, the instrument-playing cat collage will have a secret! Each cat depicted in the artwork will be drawn in the image of a beloved pet belonging to someone from the project team that helped design and build Scat Cat Lounge.

  • This eclectic piano bar is stunning, and there are so many more intricate details to see! I love the wallpaper — a custom mural by Walt Disney Imagineering that features cats from the film — and a trumpet-shaped tap found at the Scat Cat Lobby that spills into the Grand Hall!

  • I could absolutely imagine myself here after an adventurous day at sea relaxing with a Crème de la Crème Martini and listening to some swinging live tunes. Other can’t-miss drinks include The Cat’s Meow, which comes with a souvenir cat-décor glass, and a large selection of wine and champagne.

Periscope Pub

  • Lastly, on deck 5, you’ll find Periscope Pub. As you wander “down the hatch” into this deep-sea space, keep an eye out for artifacts, drawings and books used by Captain Nemo and his crew during undersea explorations on the Nautilus in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I couldn’t stop staring at the squid rug and the ceiling, which ripples with under-the-sea scenery.

  • Behind the bar, you’ll find three tap beers that are uniquely themed to the film and attraction. Fun fact: if you look a little further back, at the submarine pressure gauge, you’ll find the official hull number of each ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

  • Savor undersea-inspired cocktails such as The Narwhal or Outis Daquiri — as well as an array of light bites like loaded potato puffs, fish and chips, and mini churros — while you catch a sports game or play trivia. This is a lounge you don’t want to miss.

Coffee and Bar Spaces

Heihei Cafe

  • Stop for a sip before your next adventure at this Moana-inspired café, located on Deck 4. I love the subtle nods to the Walt Disney Animation Studios films throughout this venue, including the shell backsplash and nature-inspired color palette.

  • Keep an eye out for Heihei, Pua, and more beloved characters!

Jade Cricket Cafe

  • This beautifully designed bar-slash-café is a nod to the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Mulan. The elegant gold combined with the plum blossom pattern sprinkled throughout the space is stunning.

  • Like at Heihei Café, you’ll find USB outlets to recharge your devices while you recharge, too. And don’t miss Cri-Kee hanging out nearby!

The Rose

  • Our last stop is a returning favorite, The Rose.

  • This adult-exclusive lounge found on Deck 12 is inspired by the enchanted flower from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Beauty and the Beast. This upscale venue gives guests a spot to sip a cocktail or savor an aperitif while surrounded by antique mirrors.

  • And don’t forget those beautiful ocean views!
