Amenities

• USB Ports

• Rooms include USB ports and USB-C ports, as well as European outlets and American outlets. Power strips are NOT ALLOWED, so we always recommend bringing a USB dongle with several ports. Plug your computer into the wall, then the dongle into your computer so you can charge multiple devices on one outlet.

• Built-in Nightlight

• The bathroom toilet area is now equipped with a nightlight, which is handy for those kids who still struggle with dark spaces or those midnight bathroom situations, so you don't have to disturb your whole cabin.

• Cozy Staterooms

• The air conditioning in the staterooms might not be as powerful as the ones you'd experience in a hotel. So the rooms tend to feel a little warmer than expected.

• If you run warm, consider bringing a packable fan for the evenings. Also keep your curtains closed during the day, so the sun doesn't attack your room, warming it from the outside.

• In Room Cold Box/Fridge

• The cold boxes from before were little fridges and were not that cold and very small. This drawer system is pretty cold and relatively large. So you can actually keep some in-room snacks, so you don't have to ring down to room service.

Wish Stateroom’s Themes

  • Forward stairs are GREEN

  • AFT stairs are BLUE

• Elevators

• The Wish does not have a central elevator bank that other ships have due to studies showing fewer people use them.

• Now there are only two elevator banks, forward and aft. But they do have more elevators than they did before.

• Only certain elevators go up to the top floors. If you're trying to get to floor 13 to go to Palo and are currently on floor 6 n the aft elevator bank, only the farthest toward the wall elevators will take you to floor 13. The others will stop at 11 and 12. So when an up elevator opens, check the buttons inside to see if there is a 13 button.

• Elevator buttons are touchless, which means they are activated by someone just being near them. But that means when an elevator is packed then someone inevitably presses against all of the buttons to let someone by means they all light up now. I do think Disney will look into making these standard buttons again with all the complaints.

• What is the brand of the pillows and the brand and model of the mattresses used on Disney Wish in the non-concierge rooms?

• Your head rested upon a queen-size hypoallergenic “New Generation” brand pillow from Harbor Linen. The plush Euro-top queen-size mattress is custom-made by Biscayne Bedding. Guests who live in the United States may order a mattress directly from them and have it shipped to their house. I slept so well on this mattress that I ordered one for myself. I now sleep just as well as I did on the ship; too bad there’s no gentle ocean breeze right outside my bedroom.
