The expected wait time for your DisneyBand+ is approximately 10 business days from the date of your order, unless otherwise noted. Please note: shipping of DisneyBand+ is only available to US residents with a valid US address.
-
Depending on an individual’s use of the band, the battery can last an estimated 1 to 3 days when fully charged. For optimal usage, it is recommended you charge your DisneyBand+ overnight.
-
DisneyBand+ has a rechargeable battery and a 6-inch USB charging cable that comes with the purchase of the product. A charging cable can also be purchased separately online or at select onboard retail locations. Lightning® connectors are also available for purchase on board. We recommend charging your DisneyBand+ to High Battery levels (green flashing) once before—and nightly—during your voyage. Also, make sure you have installed the latest version of the software for optimal usage.
Battery Status
While on board, you can check your DisneyBand+ battery status via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app if you have paired the band to your mobile device. In addition, pressing the button on the back of the band will cause it to light up in specific colors to indicate the current battery status.
Flashing Red indicates “No Battery.” You should charge your band as soon as possible with the included charging cable.
Flashing Yellow indicates “Low Battery.” Continue charging your band until the light turns green for the most optimal usage throughout your day.
Flashing Green indicates “High Battery.” You are good to go!
Note: If your DisneyBand+ battery is depleted, you will still have access to certain features such as:
Stateroom entry
Charging purchases to the payment card in your stateroom folio

A Disney Oceaneer Band is a bracelet provided for use on board the ship to children ages 12 and under, allowing them access in and out of Disney's Oceaneer Club and Disney's Oceaneer Lab. An Oceaneer Band does not offer features such as stateroom access, photo linking or magical moments and must be returned at the end of your sailing.
Children who are 12 and under and registered for youth club activities can use their DisneyBand+ to access Disney's Oceaneer Club and Disney's Oceaneer Lab. It’s a good idea to charge the band beforehand, but we can also issue a Disney Oceaneer Band if the DisneyBand+ battery runs out of power during the fun. Please note: you must return your Disney Oceaneer Band at the end of your cruise to avoid being charged a fee.
-

Radio Frequency technology—also known as RF—is commonly used technology found throughout the world in everyday items like credit cards, video game controllers, fitness wristbands and much more. We use RF technology to enhance your experience during your Disney Cruise Line vacation.
RF Technology on Your Disney Cruise Line Vacation
DisneyBand+ and Key to the World cards use RF technology to allow you to enter your stateroom with a simple touch and make contactless purchases at select onboard locations. We continue to use this common technology for new and amazing experiences and enhanced Guest service.
Regulation of RF Technology
Disney Cruise Line ships have systems and devices with RF technology that are designed, tested and manufactured to comply with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations. The levels of RF energy they generate are similar to those found in many consumer devices.
Implanted Pacemakers or Cardioverter-Defibrillators and RF Technology
If you have questions about your medical device and RF technology, we encourage you to seek the guidance of your device’s manufacturer and your physician. Manufacturers of implantable pacemakers and cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) typically recommend that you keep your medical device 9 inches (23 cm) away from RF transmitters similar to the one found inside DisneyBand+ and at touch points throughout Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and the Disney Cruise Line fleet of ships.
If you suspect RF technology interference with your medical device, move away from the RF device so it is at least 9 inches (23 cm) away from your pacemaker or ICD.
Insulin Pumps, Neuro-Stimulators, Hearing Aids and RF Technology
Every device differs so we encourage you to check directly with your device manufacturer and physician before use of DisneyBand+ if you are unsure of any associated risks from RF technology.
-
DisneyBand+ devices are not GPS-based and do not enable collection of continuous location signals. However, we may be able to determine your location through the DisneyBand+ while you are at select Disney parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney vacation experiences.

Charge Your Band to Reuse It
Depending on how much time has passed, battery health on a used DisneyBand+ may limit your ability to receive photos. However, the band’s rechargeable battery should allow you uninterrupted access to this entitlement. DisneyBand+ should be plugged in and charged nightly during your voyage—and at least once every 6 months between sailings—to ensure healthy battery condition.
